Most resumes crash
and burn at the 20-second barrier.
That's about how long they last before they're tossed

I was extended an offer for employment
today!
I can't thank you enough for your
guidance and support! I was on my last
job over 20 years, so a job search was a new
venture for me.
Please let everybody know that what you are
teaching and coaching on WORKS!
Thank you a zillion times over for your books,
the conference calls, and the guidance. I
would never have done this without

There was one resume tip you gave that
was eye opening...
Joe,
I attended your resume workshop and I
wanted to let you know that there was one
resume tip you gave that was eye opening and
helpful to me in obtaining a new job offer
today!
You pointed out that the employer has a
problem... they have work that needs to be done
and presently don't have someone to do that
work. In addition, you said every opportunity
you get, you need to rip the scab off of their
problem and let their "wound" bleed. (You might
have said it better... but I think you know
what I am referring to.)
Anyway, I had an interview yesterday and I was
able to point to their need and continually
reinforce how my experience and ideas could
solve their problem.
I got a call this morning and they
offered me the job!
Thanks again for your help! I already referred
you to a good friend of mine and an
unemployment program I worked with for job
seekers.
All the best & God bless!
You're a hero in my book :)
